How to Cancel a home game.
1. Sign
in (using your Arbiter email address & password):
2. Review the Announcements for the latest information and updates about what
is happening.
3. Click on the Schedules link in the left hand
column.
4. Choose the appropriate Team (not Bill-To) and click on the number
under the Games column.
5. You must be the home team to cancel a game.
a. If the game is within 5 days
of today's date, you will see a 
in the first column under the red box heading. If you click on the ,
the entire line will turn from normal (white or light grey) to canceled (red). You have just canceled
the game and you should expect to receive an email in your account within a
few minutes. Emails will also be sent to the umpires, and the visiting team
contacts as appropriate. You must cancel the game not less than four (4) hours
before the listed start time in order to avoid being billed for the game. If
you are the visiting team, you will not be able to cancel the game. If you are having any
problems canceling the game this way or do not receive a confirming email, PLEASE call me at
(301) 384-7062 and cancel the game over the phone.
b. If you wish to add a note at this time, click on the pencil & pad icon. This will bring
up a new window. Click on the black plus sign in the yellow circle in the red box
to add a new note. A text entry box will appear for you to type in the information.
Check who you would like to be able to see the note (officials and teams are
good choices). When finished, click on the green check mark to save your entry,
or the red X to cancel. Click on the grey Exit button to return.
c. You must email me, Tom Kneeland, or call me at (301) 384-7062
to reschedule the game. There are not provisions to
do this task automatically.
d. Scroll up and use the team listings above as a check to verify what you have done.
6. Click on the grey Exit button on the upper or lower right side to return
to the previous screen.
7. Continue clicking on the grey Exit buttons until you return to the start
page, or click on the words "Start Page" in the upper left hand corner above the
Arbiter.net graphic, or click on the "Sign Out" in the upper right hand corner.
