Training Schedule for MBUA Sponsored NFHS Training

MBUA Training Classes for new and returning umpires:

• Classes will begin Thursday, January 17, 2007 at 7:30 PM and will be held every Thursday evening through February 26 at in the Lyon Center behind St John the Baptist, 12319 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904.
• New officials are welcome and must attend the classes in order to be assigned to public high school baseball in Maryland.
• Training is provided in National Federation High School baseball rules, field mechanics as well as a weekend practical field clinic.
• Veteran officials are always welcome to attend these sessions.



• Unless otherwise noted, all classes will be held at the Lyon Center behind St John the Baptist.
• Please arrive early so class can start on time.
• Classes generally last 2 to 2.5 hours.
• If Montgomery County Public Schools are closed on class days, there will be no training class that evening.

Portions of this class may be held in the cafeteria, so please bring a pair of sneakers and casual clothes so you can participate in the mechanics exercises.
